Selena Raj is a Punjabi-American singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and performer from Clarksburg, Maryland. She performs covers and original material featuring passionate vocals, warm acoustics, and thoughtful lyricism.

Selena writes about mental health, all types of relationships, and the stuff in the newspapers. Her voice is often described as rich, smoky, and powerful. Selena is grateful to not only have her solo act but to also be a vocalist in several live duo acts and bands that perform in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

With a strong background in choir and Indian dance, Selena has always been a natural performer — she strives to deliver a stage presence that is just as dynamic and engaging as her vocal performance. When she’s not doing music (or working her day job in politics), Selena can be found gardening, scrapbooking, painting, cooking, watching hockey/football/The Weather Channel, and/or petting her sweet cat, Oliver Gravy.
